June 29, 2009 - Strata Group’s C3C® Offers Even More Flexibility
C3C® Small Scale Deployment Solutions Give Businesses a Cost-Effective Option
St. Louis, MO, June 29, 2009 – When Service Providers look for a more cost-effective solution for their customers, they have to look no further than Strata Group’s C3C®. Strata Group announced today that it is expanding its solutions for open-source components. The new options give businesses with up to 5,000 lines the ability to manage services while lowering their hardware and software costs and still providing the ability for growth.
These new options include
- Low cost commodity hardware
- Open source infrastructure software: Red Hat Linux, JBOSS application server,
MySQL database
- Oracle Express Edition database
“In speaking with our customers, we realized a lot of smaller businesses are put off by the cost of high end hardware and expensive operating systems, databases and application servers. Opening up new, low cost, quality, deployment solutions for C3C® gives our customers economical options that save them money, while still enjoying the full services the C3C application offers,” said Steve Koudelis, Senior Sales Engineer at Strata Group.
With the new platform options for C3C®, customers receive the same enterprise class functionality at an open source cost.
Customers can buy as few lines as they require, but the new options are for customers who only want up to 5,000 lines. With that in mind, Strata Group leaves room for growth and flexibility through easy migration to larger platforms. As the user grows, C3C® grows too.
